Oshun project is located alongside a river, surrounded by mountains and trees.
There was a desirable challenge through the process of this project, since we had to redesign a framework. We thus focused on the needs, desires and expectations of the client.
Here is the main list of changes applied to this project:
-In order to create more space, mainly in the bedroom area walls and rooms were reduced to what was necessary, the main goal was to move towards an open plan.
-In a vertical manner we put more emphasis on the voids in order to bring more light and view inside the space.
-we added an extra kitchen that is connected to the main kitchen via an elevator to send the prepared meals upstairs.
-adding a wall of shelving with the height of 7 meter we divided dining area from the sitting area on the ground floor. This wall system also provides lighting and adds to the epic void that connects ground floor to the first floor.This void shifts on the first floor to the side walls to connect first and second floor.
-Rethinking the windows locations in search of better views we swapped the location of master bedroom window with its opposite wall that holds the bathroom.
Two skylights were embedded in this project, one on top of the void in the sitting area and the other above the master bedroom.
With the aim of creating a lighter ambience we emphasized on vertical accesses and light colors for interior design. Everything is well thought to make it cozy and natural so the people who are living there are bringing in the real color.
