A BRIGHT OPEN PLAN SPACE

A total 260 square meters on the site, the building has three units, each containing one to two bedrooms. The project has several private terraces, among other amenities.

Located in Lavasan, not far from crowded Tehran, each 170 square meters apartment is built to serve people who are having days off from the capital.

These apartments are arranged in the way that the entire space benefits from the light provided by tall windows.

A central open-plan space hosts the living space, dining area and kitchen, while bedrooms are located off the main space. The master bedroom on the third floor is only divided from its bathroom by a partition which just about to reach the wall, creating a spacious open space also in the bedroom.   Wood flooring features throughout the apartments, except for the bathrooms – where ceramic is used.

The continuity of the wooden floor that runs through a part of ceiling creates a visual separation in the living area from terraces. Terraces are facing the south and opens up the interior towards a great view and light. However, in order to have a flexible semi open space, parts of the terraces are covered with folding wooden curtains that blur the borders between public and privet; terraces and street. As well as creating a nice visual contrast between the dark textured cement of the walls and the warm woods of the folding curtains.
