This project is locate in Lavasan, north-east of Tehran, a perfect place to escape the chaotic Tehran. It contains eleven individually designed spaces based on different needs of any future inhabitants, whether they are small or large families or single people, looking for different spatial qualities.
These eleven houses behave as components of the whole project. They are named based on their interior qualities as well as their relations with other sectors, names such as; privet house, green house, blue lounge house, etc.
Trying several configurations and possible arrangements we reached into a holistic form that sits on a steep land that has two accesses, one from north (up/back) and the other from south (down/front). The main internal access to the houses exists inside the central core of the main volume that is divided in two east-west parts.
Communal spaces float around these houses creating possibilities for more interactions among the neighbors without interrupting their privacy. One of the most interesting communal spaces is a vertical garden on the north side of the project, where due to sloppiness of the land houses on premier levels lack sunlight. There exists this vertical garden with tall walls that flowers and greenery grows on them and several ladders create accessibility to the network of plants. One of these walls acts as a fountain with water crawling down on it from top, reaching the ground amongst light and shadows.
On the south side, this project becomes a platform for a breathtaking view of a lake and the mountains around it. Each house is designed in a way to benefit from desired light and view gaining from the south side.
All together this project creates harmony for those who decided on escaping the town for any reason.
